Excursion to the Kaiserstuhl by the UFO Unimog Friends-Ortenau

On Sunday, 13 June 2021, 18 Unimogs met in Lahr on the car park of a supermarket chain. Wolfgang Ammann of the 'UFO Unimog-Freunde-Ortenau' had invited them.

the UFO Unimog-Freunde-Ortenau are a group within the regional group Ortenau-Elsass of the Unimog-Club-Gaggenau. This loose grouping had developed at a time when the regional group still included Mittelbaden-Ortenau-Elsass and the events in the Ortenau were underrepresented. 

Punctually at 10:30 a.m., the group set off and drove on small side roads for about 1 hour to Jechtingen in the Kaiserstuhl region.

There we enjoyed the wine and the delicious asparagus at "Gerhart's Strauße". Sitting nicely under the trees, even the glaring sunlight was easy to bear. The return journey was individual, so some Unimogs also made an excursion to the neighbouring Alsace.

It was very nice to meet the many Unimog friends again, some of whom we have not met in person for almost 1 ½ years! We are looking forward to many more meetings in 2021 / 2022 and we will keep the public informed.
